Strawberry Banana Smoothie
 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 ½ c apple or other juice
  • 2 bananas, frozen
  • ½ c strawberries, frozen
     

DIRECTIONS:

Pour juice into a blender. Add fruit and blend well.  Serve immediately.  Use leftover for popsicles, if desired.
 

NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION:

Per serving: 101.7 Calories; 0.5g fat (3.7% calories from fat); 0.8g protein; 25.5g carbohydrate; 0mg cholesterol; 4mg sodium. Exchanges: 1 ½ fruit.

 

John’s Smoothie
 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 12 oz. can of orange juice concentrate
  • 1 large banana
  • 1 pear
  • 1 lime, peeled

 

DIRECTIONS:

Add enough water to reconstitute orange juice and blend with all the ingredients until smooth.
