Scrambled Tofu #1

Serves: 4
Prep time: 10 min

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb firm tofu
  • 1 ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp tumeric
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 2 tsp vegetarian chicken seasoning

 

DIRECTIONS:

Crumble tofu into frying pan.  Stir in seasonings. Cook 5 minutes on medium heat.

Variation:

 Add chopped bell pepper, onions, or mushrooms.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cube firm, fresh, water-packed tofu crumbled
  • 2-3 T Mock chicken seasoning
  • ½ tsp Garlic salt
  • ½ tsp Garlic granules
  • ½ tsp Onion salt
  • ½ tsp Onion granules
  • 1 T Onion flakes, dried
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • ½ tsp Sage
  • 1 tsp Tumeric
  • 1 T Brewers Yeast
  • ½ tsp Cayenne (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

Fry for about 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve warm.
