BURGER INGREDIENTS:
- 1 c gluten flour
- 1 c quick oats
- ¼ c yeast flakes
- ¼ c soy flour
- ¼ c wheat germ
- 1 T vegetarian chicken seasoning
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp sage
- 1 med onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 ½ c hot water
- 3 T olive oil
- ¼ c soy sauce
DIRECTIONS:
In a medium bowl, combine dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. In a large bowl, mix onion, garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, and hot water. Add dry ingredients to liquid. Mix well and let stand 3-5 minutes. Form patties and fry in lightly oiled or non-stick pan. Place burgers in a shallow casserole and set aside while preparing broth recipe. Pour broth over gluten burgers. Cover casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
If desired, burgers can be used simply fried, as sandwich fillers.

- 1 T brewer’s yeast
- 1 ½ tsp vegetarian chicken seasoning
- ¼ c onion, chopped
- garlic, to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients.
