INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
Roll 1/3 batch of whole wheat bread dough into large rectangle, 1/2 inch thick. Spread with Date Butter and roll up like jelly roll. Cut into 1-inch slices and place in sprayed baking dish. Sprinkle with almonds or pecans. Let rise in warm place until double then bake at 300º degrees for 30 minutes.
DIRECTIONS:
Blend until smooth:
- ¾ c. hot water
- 1 c. dates
NOTE:
If the dates you are using are very dry or firm, let soak in water for 15-20 minutes or simmer in a saucepan until soft.
