Crispy Oat Waffles
 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 ¼ c Water
  • 2 c Quick Oats
  • 1/3 c  Barley Flour
  • ¼ c Raw wheat germ
  • ¼ c  Cornmeal
  • ¼ c Raw cashew pieces
  • ¼ c Splenda
  • 1 T Liquid Lecithin
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 ½ tsp Maple syrup or flavoring
  • ¾ tsp salt

 

DIRECTIONS:

Blend all ingredients until creamy.  Set mixture aside about 5 minutes while you pre-heat the waffle iron.  Spray iron with cooking spray and pour batter onto iron until fills out to the edges.  Bake 12 minutes.  Yield: 4-6 waffles
